Emsys® was founded as a spin off company of the Westerlund Group www.westerlundgroup.com and has developed into an independent privately held software company dedicated to the paper supply industry.

We develop software, offer implementation services, sell hardware and network solutions and offer consultancy services around paper tracing and paper logistics.

Today we are tracing more than 13 million tons of paper a year. We have more than 150 customers in more than 12 countries and we handle more than 3000 EDI messages a day. In order to support this we have a team of more than 30 employees and a great global network of partners and Emsys® certified consultants that help us sell and support our products.

We are proud that our customers belong to the leading paper producers, paper logistics companies, publishers/paper owners and printers, paper converters or packaging companies. However we do not only service the big companies. More and more we service medium sized companies willing to professionalise their internal or external paper supply chain and paper logistics.

Today our main focus is our global expansion, the further development of niche software products, testing the most state of the art technology such as RFID in order to develop new applications for our customers and develop more specific services for our customers helping them improving their internal or external logistic requirements as well as improving the connection and collaboration between the different actors in the paper supply chain.
